I ran out to take some photos of the amazing sunset a few evenings ago, but instead found this beauty on my porch looking for food and attention. Of course I forgot about the sunset! I gave her some milk, but my husband says that's bad for them; is that true? I don't really know much about cat diets...

Sweet cat...

Cats are generally considered as "selfish" animals but that is not true, they can be as affectionate and sweet as dogs. While visiting my parents in Italy I have seen the old cat of my mother. I am saying old because she is really 20 years old, and has been getting sick recently. She now moves very little and really looks as an old fragile little lady, but she is still the same sweet creature longing for contact with the rest of the family, as when she was a little kitten...

If you give it milk, it will come back for more.... so if you don't want that, than it is bad, otherwise, keep giving milk..... and also, normal milk is bad, there is special Cat-milk....

i can't make out if you did selective desaturation or the colors are as they are, either way i very much love the image. i think aside from some food, she's also looking for some photographs, no?

your husband is right. while milk is good for kittens, it can make grown cats sick... though i'm sure a little here and there wont hurt. nice shot!
