 Somebody's front yard, Berkeley CA. On the morning of my talk I woke up with food poisoning. Is there anything worse, temporary-sickness-wise, that one can get when they're giving a talk? I was throwing up just hours before my talk; I thought I would throw up during my talk and that everyone would remember me as the throwing-up girl forever. Luckily, I didn't throw up and all went well. On Sunday the sun came out in the morning and I walked around Berkeley enjoying all the flowers (there are no flowers in Baltimore yet). BTW I'm curious how the colors look on everyone's screen. Depending on what display mode I chose in PS, it looked either dark and saturated or light and blah - I tried to find a happy medium; did it work?
