![]() Here are some landscape shots from San Francisco. The day before I left, the sun was actually sort of out. But it was even better than sunny - look at those clouds! I walked around for hours, from Pier 39 to past the Golden Gate Bridge, and there was so much beautiful stuff in between. All three of these were taken in the Presidio area, which is huge and beautiful. Posted by Gaja at February 25, 2005 1:20 PM © All images are copyrighted. I used to live in SF for a while and there's a great beach down there too :) Posted by: miles at March 2, 2005 12:59 AM Beautiful! Excellent framing and wonderful colors. Congrats! Posted by: Andreas at March 1, 2005 1:50 PM what i like is the colours are saturated, but not harsh Posted by: marc at February 28, 2005 10:01 PM you color photographs are so amazingly saturated. i find it hard to get well saturated colors straight out of the camara (w/o pshop). perhaps it's time for a camera upgrade. Posted by: spoon at February 28, 2005 3:15 PM nice. did you go to the marin headlands and shoot from there? its a very unique angle from there, youre actually above the bridge! i love this shot you took from the presidio. you got lucky too, in that there is no fog on the bridge, a rare occurance. sf is the most beautiful city in the world and i'd never want to live anywhere else. youve inspired me to go out and shoot more sf city shots. :-) Posted by: frisky? at February 28, 2005 10:22 AM Great ligth! Posted by: Fran at February 28, 2005 6:43 AM Great ligth! Posted by: Fran at February 28, 2005 6:41 AM Great ligth! Posted by: Fran at February 28, 2005 6:36 AM The colors are really nice, and the background is so crisp. Posted by: pierre at February 28, 2005 4:00 AM A very familiar bridge this is, worldwide. I have never been to San Fransisco, but it is on my holiday wish list. Posted by: Chantal at February 27, 2005 6:15 AM wow, this is just stunning! Posted by: potty at February 27, 2005 12:39 AM The composition is great in the shot, great picture. Posted by: Corey at February 26, 2005 1:20 PM Gorgeous image and composition. Up until just over a year ago we used to live in Northern CA for about seven years and all that time I never made it a point to get shots like this when visiting S.F. Your photo really makes me wish I had! Posted by: Simon at February 26, 2005 1:48 AM Love the colors & point of view! Great shot! Posted by: Caroline at February 26, 2005 12:18 AM this is great. i've never seen the golden gate bridge shot from this angle. everyone always seems to shoot it from the other side. i love how the city is absent... almost makes me feel like there's this spectacular bridge out in the middle of nowhere. Posted by: zac at February 25, 2005 11:54 PM Beautiful light. And I love that little red dot in the water, echoing the red in the bridge. Posted by: matt at February 25, 2005 11:34 PM Gorgeous light: the bright bridge against the dark stormy sky is very dramatic. Cloudy skys are definitely more interesting than the clear ones... I like the way the green vegetation is so powerful, even though maybe reducing the green tint a little would enhance even more the contrast between the bright and dark areas. Posted by: Massimo at February 25, 2005 10:47 PM This is perfect. I have a soft spot for the Golden Gate anyway, and seeing this photo took my breath away for just a second. Beautiful. Posted by: Saroy at February 25, 2005 9:22 PM whoaahh! brings back memories for me, from years ago. excellent shot. Posted by: paul at February 25, 2005 8:39 PM This is sensational. The composition is perfect IMO. I love the light too, and the way the green and red just pop. Posted by: Sara at February 25, 2005 3:06 PM Post a comment |
