![]() This was a color image but the colors were pretty blah; I think this is much improved. I'm so happy to be done tonight with a term paper that had been spiraling out of control. It may have been my last term paper ever. The whole time I knew that I should just get it over with because I have more important things (like dissertation proposals) to work on, but I just can't stand doing something badly. So of course finishing this project only means I get to move on to more work, but still, at least I like it more! Posted by Gaja at May 20, 2005 11:18 PM © All images are copyrighted. Brilliant execution for a flower macro. Posted by: Stray at May 25, 2005 11:36 AM dogwoods are one of my favorite trees and of all the shots of dogwoods i have ever seen, i'm quite certain that this is my favorite. i especially like the way the "dimples" in the petals are presented and where the "crown" of the cluster in the middle of the blossom is placed. Posted by: jcm at May 23, 2005 4:04 PM Nice photo, a bit to blurry for me, but the photo is good. Posted by: Chantal at May 23, 2005 4:41 AM This is simple and pretty. I like the composition. Great job. It's amazing to see how B&W or sepia can save an otherwise boring photo. Nice work. Posted by: David Kapp at May 21, 2005 6:19 PM The contrasts are fantastic on this b/w version! You were probably right to get rid of colors. Posted by: xell at May 21, 2005 2:43 PM Great Tones! beautiful photo. Posted by: Sean at May 21, 2005 12:47 AM I really like this in b&w with that subtle brown tone. It has a monochrome painting quality. Very nice.
