Here's something for a change of pace (back to my digital color photos). This was taken in DC near our favorite dim-sum restaurant in Rosslyn (yes our favorite dim-sum restaurant is 1.5 hours from home). We went there before going to the zoo last weekend. Sadly very few decent photos resulted from that trip;-(. Maybe I will post some; we'll see.

I don't know if this is clear from the image, but this is actually a color photo - not a duotone or monochrome. I did adjust the curves and colors, making the colors darker and bringing out the greenish hue in parts of the building. There will be a lot more digital color in the coming days.

Perfectly framed color zen...

Oh, man, I'm in love! This is gorgeous! Well...you know how I feel about blue... The perspective is incredible too--even though I'm sure this building is curved in actuality, I have the feeling that you've somehow managed to make a straight building look this way just by the way you're holding your camera... Strange, but wonderful!

I really love the curvature you captured on this one. Excellent.

I really like your macro stuff but this shot is very cool. I love the color and abstract feel.

very good, I dig the open window, ideally placed, and I find the colors very relaxing

Great shot, that opened window (or vent?) adds a nice touch, and the texture of the building looks nice and rough between the glass.

neat shot here. i would prefer the window closed :)

Good shot. The opened window makes the photo more interesting. Is this a cylindrical building or it's a flat building captured with fisheye lens? ;)

Great shot. Love the color. The little dark "window" or whatever, is what makes this for me. Love the glow on the right side. Simple yet very interesting.

Great Perspective.
Congratulations for new "view"

great! I like the way the symetry is broken by something (?) on the top right.

Great perspective and tones! I love the white glow in the upper-right.
(No problem with the colors, on my laptop it comes out very well.)
