This shot is for ginger with hopes that she feels better soon. We had to take her to the vet this morning because she's been all red and swollen on her behind. I have to warn you, the following is not for the weak of stomach. She has an abscess on her behind (an infection in the anal gland); they had to keep her all day and surgically drain it, and she has a drain in there for a whole week. The poor girl is always getting sick; this is nothing like her hip surgery a year ago but it set us back $300 and she is nothing like her usual bundle of enthusiasm. Of course we're just glad she's ok and hope she gets better soon.

I think the story and the image go perfectly together.

I'm sure Ginger will be fine in due time...heart-breaking though isn't it?

In the subject of the photo, I like this shot very much - the saturated colours and the way you've positioned ginger really work well...for me anyway.

Love the odd framing here, the colour of the sky is superb.

I like the timing, just the back of the dog in sight...... great color also.

That's horrible! But I'm glad she's on the mend. Hope she's back to normal soon!

(Congrats on the Editor's Award on Usefilm for this one!)
