Great shot I like photos of power lines and other things you see on a daily bases... but I like seeing them from angles that you wouldn’t normally think of doing.

Good perspective and good idea making it a black and white photo.

I like the perspective as well. some how that last out of focus rung to the ladder really keeps my eye in the photo. very well done.

Good idea to fish this image out, because it is quite interesting. For me these poles are something typical american (in Italy poles are either concrete or metal) and this is a very good example of them. What makes the photo stand out, apart the perspective, is the light in the sky that seems to radiate from the top of the pole.

This gives a wonderful sense of scale - the minteresting perspective and the dof effect.
