 This is one of my favorite movie theaters, the Senator. It has only one screen and no student discount: that's how much its charm outweighs the other factors. What I enjoy most when I go to this theater is the owner's dog who is always in the lobby with at least one ball, which the patrons kick to him and he kicks back. He is some sort of mutt I imagine, black and white and very furry, maybe a border collie, although much cuter than average in my opinion. So I was pretty impressed last time I went and saw another, identical dog, possibly the first one's offspring and obviously younger. Of course there are other reasons to enjoy the Senator even for those who are not dog-obsessed. I also like that they have a real, live fabric curtain that they draw back before a show. You've captured the essence of this one with that slight tilt of the frame. Also, you've exposed this just right so that the lights have just the right amount of intensity. Great shot. I miss going to real theatres -- it's quite the drive to go see a movie from where I live, unless you want to go to the cheap theatre with horrible sound.
